1. With the PTO engaged and the truck engine running, fluid is drawn from Tank (20) through Inlet Ball Valve (27) to the charge pump inlet port “S” of the Drum Drive Pump (1).
2. Charge pressure fluid flows through Charge Pressure Filter (18) to the rotary group and internal components of Drum Drive Pump (1).
3. Charge pressure fluid above the spring setting of the internal charge pressure relief valve is vented to the pump case drain.
4. Charge pressure fluid flows to the cabin to Remote Tension Relief Valve (11) and pressure can be monitored at Pressure Transducer (29).
5. Charge pressure fluid flows to Drum Dump Valve (9).
6. Charge pressure fluid also flows to Spooling Control Valve (16).
7. Charge pressure of the Drum Drive Pump (1) can be monitored at Pressure Transducer (14).
8. Drum Drive Pump (1) is a closed loop transmission variable displacement piston pump and the charge pump pressure from the drum drive charge pump flows to both work ports of Drum Drive Motor (4).
9. Case drain fluid flow from Drum Drive Motor (4) flows to Case Drain Manifold (13).
