1. See “Drum UP” or “Drum Down” for first sequence of this event.
2. When the operator shifts the Motor Speed control joystick from the “LOW” position to the “HIGH” position, a proportional electrical signal is routed through the motor controller and supplies a signal to Winch Motor (4) linear to the movement of the joystick.
3. This signal moves the proportional directional control valve that is internal to Winch Motor (4) which causes the swash plate of the motor allowing the volume of hydraulic fluid to be varied in the motor thus the speed is changed.
